Waste Management & Recycling
We actively work to reduce waste across our operations and promote responsible disposal.
- All cardboard, plastic, and glass waste is recycled wherever facilities allow
- Packaging materials are separated and handled responsibly within our warehouse
- We offer to remove cardboard and packaging delivered to customers and recycle it on their behalf
- We aim to minimise unnecessary packaging and reuse materials internally where possible
These steps help reduce landfill waste and support a more circular approach to distribution.
Energy & Resource Efficiency
We encourage efficient use of resources across all areas of the business.
- Staff are encouraged to use electricity, gas, and water responsibly and only when required
- Lighting, heating, and equipment usage is regularly reviewed to reduce unnecessary consumption
- Day-to-day operational decisions are made with energy efficiency in mind
Sustainable Transport & Deliveries
Distribution is a key part of our environmental footprint, and we take active steps to reduce its impact.
- Our vehicles are run on bio-diesel where possible
- All vehicles are checked daily to ensure correct tyre pressures and roadworthy condition, improving fuel efficiency
- Delivery schedules and routes are reviewed regularly to minimise mileage and avoid unnecessary journeys
- Orders are consolidated wherever possible to reduce the number of trips
By focusing on vehicle efficiency and smarter planning, we aim to reduce emissions while maintaining service standards.
Supporting Local & Lower-Impact Supply Chains
We actively promote and support local and regional products, helping to:
- Reduce delivery miles within our supply chain
- Support local producers and independent brands
