Shipping, Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

Shipping

Our cut off for order dispatched same day is 12pm. Items are usually dispatched from the warehouse within 2 days. Customers will be informed of any delays by email or phone.

Standard Delivery - 2-4 working days (parcels under 2.5kg only) 0 - 2.5kg £4.99 +VAT
Yodel 1 -2 working days within UK Mainland 0 - 31kg £6.49 +VAT
Yodel 2-4 working days within UK Mainland 0 - 31kg £6.99 +VAT
Northern Ireland & Remote Area service to Islands and Scottish Highlands 0 - 31kg £9.50 +VAT
Large orders & Bulky Items 150kg + Please call us for an accurate shipping cost

Postage is calulated on weight, if one parcel exceeds 31kg it will automatically add another parcel etc. Any order which exceeds 150kg (5 parcels) will require you to call for delivery cost which is stated at the checkout. If you proceed with the order at this stage you wont be charged for delivery but will have to pay extra once a delivery charge has been calculated before dispatch for the goods. No orders will be dispatched without payment of delivery. Orders large enough for pallet deliveries are quoted at the time of purchase and may vary.

Prices are dependant on size & weight. Extra charges may occur if items exceed weight limits. All shipping charges are none refundable. If you have any issues with recieving your order, please contact our office by email - sales@jlbrooks.co.uk. 

Delivery Times

Weekdays - orders placed before 12pm will be shipped the same day, after this time they will be shipped the following weekday.

Weekends - J.L.Brooks is closed Saturday & Sunday & therefore orders will be shipped on the following Monday (unless a bank holiday)

How To Return An Item

Items may only be returned if the item purchased is defective. Please contact us regarding this via email – sales@jlbrooks.co.uk . You will be offered a refund or a replacement item once the item has been examined. Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase. The item must be in its original unused condition & packaging as when left the warehouse. All returns made at the buyers cost, we cannot provide free shipping for returns. Shipping and handling charges are none refundable and the customer is responsible for any damage/loss. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

  1. Please email sales@jlbrooks.co.uk to notify of the defective item.
  2. Mail your returned item to:
         J.L.Brooks, 
         Unit 1, Scotch Park Trading Estate, Leeds, LS12 2PY
  3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.  

Customers will be refunded by the payment method used on the original transaction.

Return Exceptions

Items cannot be returned if the item is open and have been tampered with/ items missing.
